Even though today there are still no specific official standards, the Disappearing Door Company and Scrigno has opted to offer a guarantee of its excellence and reliability by having its products tested by the Istituto Giordano, using a series of certified trials that demonstrate their outstanding quality.

The Scrigno Gold sliding system (track and hanger) has been subjected to MECHANICAL TESTS FOR SLIDING DOOR ACCESSORIES in accordance with the UNI EN 1527:2000 standard, obtaining the following classification: | // | 6 | 3 | 0 | // | 0 | // | 1 | 3 |

To certify the compliance of its sliding door and window frames for external walls with Italian Framework Law on Noise Pollution no. 447 dated 24/10/95 and the subsequent Decree of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers dated 5/12/97, Scrigno had its products subjected to a variety of empirical trials at the Istituto Giordano.

This legalisation establishes precise limits for acoustic absorption thresholds, setting a maximum level of 40 decibels for residential buildings, and addresses not the properties of single components, but the overall effect of finished assemblies. Final results can in fact depend on many variables:

Wall thickness;
Area of the room;
The soundproofing power of the various materials used;
The correct installation of all structural elements.
